ASUS ROG Phone 3 loses one of the features that often distinguishes gaming smartphone from their usual flagships: a built-in audio jack. However, this doesn’t mean that a Taiwanese company will deprive gamers of the opportunity to listen to music with classic wired headphones.
A 3.5mm audio jack will be there, and it will fit… in a ROG Phone 3 fan. As with previous generations, ASUS has developed a cooling nozzle for the new one, and judging by the press photo from Ishaan Agarwal, the audio jack will be located there.
What do you think of this solution?
To be fair, the previous generation of ROG Phone had an audio jack in the fan, but it used to be an alternative to the jack on the smartphone itself, not the only way to connect the headphones. Recall that ASUS ROG Phone 3 and its main competitor Lenovo Legion will be announced on July 22.
