Exynos 1000 chip will now come with AMD’s new RDNA GPU

Samsung’s Exynos chips in recent years seem a bit overwhelming they’re not as common as Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek Helio and Huawei Kirin.

The pinnacle of performance of this year’s Exynos 990 has left some users very unsatisfied. However, the game is likely to change with Exynos 1000 with AMD’s new RDNA GPU, which officially replaces the traditional Mali GPU.

The performance initially looks impressive. In Manhattan 3.1, the software obtained 181 FPS, 50{9ee0c38589d25aff4c2785684b07dd57a0683731766a7570ca7c06c75633c956} more than Adreno 650 in Snapdragon 865. In the Aztec application, the results are even more impressive, 2.5 times higher than the normal level and the peak is 3 times the high setting.

Exynos 1000 is expected to launch an advanced 5nm process later this year, early next year.
