According to leak suggest a cheaper 4G version of the iPhone 12 known as iPhone 12e is going to come next year.
The new device is reportedly available in 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch versions support 4G LTE network, is powered by the A14 Bionic chip, has 4G RAM, and comes with a 12-million rear dual-camera.
As for the pricing, the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch pricing are $549 and $649 respectively.
It is argued that Apple’s biggest markets are in the United States and Europe, which are not fast enough to get on board with 5G right now, so if Apple doesn’t have 4G products, how is it going to cover the U.S. and European markets? So there will definitely be a version of 4G.
In addition, the pace of 5G development is not consistent across the world, and 4G still has a relatively large market space. If there is a significant price difference between the 4G and 5G versions of the iPhone 12 series, it would not be a more attractive option for consumers.
