MediaTek introduced the new Helio G95, which focuses on low-cost gaming smartphones.
Helio G95 offers a new feature is a hyper engine, camera support with multiple modules (up to four), extensive connectivity, and AI Super-Resolution for video streaming.
The new chip includes 2 cores Cortex-A76 with a frequency up to 2.05 GHz, six cores Cortex-A55 (frequency is not mentioned), and ARM Mali-G76 GPU with a maximum frequency of 900 MHz.
Smartphones with this chip will be able to get LPDDR4X memory (up to 2133 MHz) and eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.1, a screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 64-megapixel camera with 4K@30fps recording.
Returning to Helio G95 chips, the enhanced HyperEngine helps optimize image quality, response, network connectivity, and system resource consumption for an optimal gaming experience. For example, if the Wi-Fi signal is weak, the smartphone will pull up its LTE connections to ensure the smoothest possible connection during gaming.
AI Super Resolution Display is designed to provide high-quality video calls and video display from streaming platforms with reduced network bandwidth by 75%.
