Microsoft has released the Windows 10 Deleted File Recovery application in Microsoft Store, which will allow users who deleted files by mistake to recover them again, and the tool is free, which is a command line.
Recover Deleted Files in Windows 10
The Windows file recovery tool allows users to recover files deleted from internal or external storage disk, as well as from USB flash drives and SD card memory.
The new tool supports all file formats such as JPEG, PDF, PNG, MPEG, Office, MP3 and MP4, ZIP, and others. As well as all file systems such as NTFS, FAT, exFAT, and ReFS.
The Deleted File Recovery application in Windows 10 provides you with three modes of operation:
- Default standard mode – recommended for recovering files from NTFS and for files that have been deleted recently.
- Segment mode – when files have been deleted a long time ago or after a Windows 10 process.
- Signature mode: FAT, exFAT, and ReFS file system.
Of course, you will not be able to recover files included in the cloud storage services or any other file sharing services.
