Samsung renews the top range of its tablet line with two variants: Galaxy Tab S7+ and Galaxy Tab S7. Both get a 120 Hz screen for the first time and only the Tab S7+ gets 5G connectivity. The main difference between the two is the screen type: AMOLED for the Galaxy Tab S7+, LCD for the Galaxy Tab S7.
Samsung takes the Galaxy Tab S7 line out of the box for its most powerful tablet range. The devices are among the first to get the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus on board, combined with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM. Samsung clearly got the mustard for the design from Apple’s iPad Pro. Both look almost identical, except for the rear camera finish.
Differences between Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7
The biggest difference between the two devices is in screen technology. Both support a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but the Tab S7 has an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. By the way, the Galaxy Tab S7 does not have a fingerprint sensor in the screen like the Tab S7+, but on the side on a button.
The Galaxy Tab S7+ has a 12.4 -inch AMOLED screen (2,800 x 1,752 pixels) and supports 120 Hz. Both devices have Wi-Fi 6 onboard and are optionally available with 5G or LTE. There is space for a micro SD card for both to boost the memory by up to 1 TB.
